Well this sucks! This is officially the heaviest I've ever been (and I know I haven't made the most amazing choices lately but I'm shocked I put on so much so fast!!!)
I've started to work out today, perfect form be damned. I have to butterfly my legs out to do a full sit up but I plan to do twenty today. I plan to plank twenty seconds on each of the three sides today. I plan to do twenty push ups. I know it's not much but I have to start somewhere. I have to do this because I don't want to be this way anymore.

It is suprising how quickly you can gain it all back if you start ignoring the scale and eat like you used to. I think you are off to a good start.

Boy is diehard ever right! I recently got back from a 10 day vacation .. I was reasonably good for most meals, but I let myself drink and snack like I used to .. and I didn't get on a scale the whole time (there wasn't one around). I gained MUCH more than I thought I would .. which is one reason I haven't logged my weight recently (stupid reason, I know, but I'm embarrassed! ). Been back on track since returning home, and the good news is that so far (knock on wood) it looks like its coming back off at a reasonable rate. My big take away from this is that it is not a good idea to "fly blind" for a long period of time .. especially if you know you are indulging.

Maybe try ab exercise that's easier on your back than a sit up is? But then, I have old bones so tend to look for things I can do without getting down on the floor, because getting back up might or might not happen. :-)

My husband and I like to walk outdoors we decide to start off towards the end of July walking three miles a day in early morning sometimes in the evening now we just added another mile today the inches come off and the weight coming off 1-2 lbs a week and staying off. We are watching what we eat sometimes want some ice cream and we buy it. Weight gain happens but I know you will loose it real soon do not give up

Thanks! I intended to start more rigorous exercise in the fall, but I'm currently working on small things like stretching, lunges etc that can be done while working (Im a nanny) There's a roller rink coming to town though and I've bought my own skates, and since it's between work and home I have very little excuse not to go!

For starters, it looks like you're eating twice the amount of protein you need to... and if you're not doing Keto, you may want to (still) cut your carbs down by a third... that should help.
