got up and did my chores, got interested in pulling weeds ;forgot to take my morning meds so now i have to wait 30 to 45 minutes as meds need to be taken on empty stomach. booo breakfast is calling to me. oh well i won't die haha
seems that i've developed the attention span of a flea. i start something and get distracted and then follow the distraction and the first thing flies out of my brain. that kinda worries me. don't remember being like that before.

Hi Kathleen You're not alone..... I have the same mental capacity at the mo, the number of times I go into a room and forget immediately why I went 😱. I have started to create a daily 'to do' list otherwise I procrastinate all day and achieve absolutely nothing !

So there's the thing we know best: The common and annoying experience of arriving somewhere only to realize you've forgotten what you went there to do. We all know why such forgetting happens: we didn’t pay enough attention, or too much time passed, or it just wasn’t important enough. But a “completely different” idea comes from a team of researchers at the University of Notre Dame. The first part of their paper’s title sums it up: “Walking through doorways causes forgetting.”

LOL! I always said my boss had a brain-death-ray in her door frame, I would walk in to do or ask something and it would be gone when I arrived at her desk. I would have to go back to where I started, remember what it was and write it down before I went back! Kathleen, I call that having the attention span of a gnat and it's just as irritating as a gnat!
