debrafrederick's Journal, 20 April 2016

Well this is not what I was looking for because I feel like I have less fat. I will have to do measurements again to see if reduction is in progress. I have changed my meals around, I am actually giving a real fast of 20 hours with a 4 hour eating window a try. Moved my fat intake to the beginning of my eating window instead of with my morning coffee. I have noticed no drop in energy. I doubled my water intake too as I am doing more outside and it's warm. we will see how it goes, I feel skinneyer :) Ya'll have a great day!

I took my measurements, no change :( but I swear I feel smaller and my skin feels looser, I have no other way to describe the feeling :)

Do this, it usualy works for me. Take a 1/4 teaspoon of salt in an 8 oz. glass of water. That usually opens the water works to drop excess water.

I know you are feeling good, Debra. When I get to that point of feeling lighter, I know good things are happening inside the body. - Your body composition is changing for the better. Once the adjustments are made, you will get that whoosh of weight loss again.

I know from past experience that what you say is true Mom, but knowing the truth and dealing with the impatience to see the smug little scale admit to your progress are at opposite ends of the board. See, I am assigning human characteristics to a measurement tool!! Gah! I am the first one to tell someone not to let lack of progress on the scale undermine your goals....then when it turns on me, I start whining. It must be a human condition. OMG! I'm a human....who knew!!!

You - have done remarkably well. While some are still waiting to write their success story, you have chapters of it completed. Nice work DF.

I love what Slip72 just said!!! What incentive to keep smiling and moving forward!!!

Thank you Slip72! You just made me take a step back and look at the big picture. The big picture is, I have lost a total of 82 pounds since September 17th, 2014. A total of 20 months, which equals out to about 4.1 pounds per month. In all reality that is a tremendous achievement and I always fail to give myself proper recognition and praise for doing something so great. I was just telling a buddy about that the other day. It's funny how we can give other's good advice, and fail to apply it to ourselves. I'm staying on track and my body is stalled......I'm still a winner and winner's don't quit. Thanks for the boost you guys!
