Dropped my mid day meal from 1k calories to 5 eggs n a soda
176.8 lb Lost so far: 16.2 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Soda is fine if you can have it, don’t have a low calorie goal, and are healthy. It’s when people drink multiple a day that it’s a serious issue, or when they drink a giant soda, or drink I only a small amount but daily for years straight. Just drink water too! Don’t drink soda and then dehydrate yourself.
