Wow, this is crazy for a refeed day! I was up and down all night....it was like my bladder had shrunk and I needed to go every hour. I guess I had a whoooosh! I stepped on the scale this morning just to see what all the jumping out of bed and running to the bathroom did for me...and there you have it! I was not really hungry, but I broke my fast with my usual protein fiber shake, I added a scoop of collagen to it for an additional 10g of protein. I had the sardines in mustard for lunch and I did not feel like cooking when I got home...so had a can of tuna and two boiled eggs and two slices of cheddar cheese, followed by another protein fiber shake. Since Christmas I have been drinking 128 oz of water daily, so combined with the coffee and shakes...well you could say that was plenty of fluids, but I have never had a drop like that on a re-feed day! I'll take it! I'm below my pre-Christmas weight....and I passed another 10's Woooohoooooo!!!!
229.8 lb Lost so far: 67.2 lb.    Still to go: 49.8 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

LOL, it is a happy whooosh day! I just wish it would happen while I am awake.....that getting out of bed every hour and it taking about 10 minutes to go back to sleep has really left me feeling sleep deprived today, I'll probably want to take a nap around 3.

LOL! Thanks guys, the bad news is....it shows no sign of stopping, usually I will go once while I am at work......I was there four hours and I went 5 times, water is flushing off of me like I got a shot of lasix and I have not taken a fluid pill in about 8 weeks. I did however start taking my potassium K-tabs again because I had a couple of charley-horses. I wonder if I was low on potassium and my body was hanging onto water to keep from flushing it out? I did take it when I got off work yesterday and before I left for work today...hmmmmm

Liv, I dropped another pound and then things seemed to go back to normal. Just an extended whoosh I suppose, thankfully it did not extend into the sleep time like it did the night before, I only had two trips out of bed which is kind of normal when I don't adhere to not drinking fluids after 7 pm, which I did because I had not finished my water intake for the day. Reducing it back down to 90 oz since the Christmas gain is gone. So, I can do 90oz before 7 pm, 128oz takes me longer to complete.

Could have flushed a lot of other electrolytes too, e.g., magnesium?

Yeah, that would be a no Gopher, on the magnesium, I supplement that daily and the salt and chloride were way over because of Christmas. I gained 13 lbs of water overnight after all of the salt from the spiral sliced smoked ham, but I was out of my potassium perscription and just got it refilled at the end of last week, when I took the potassium, it's like it turned loose of all of the retained water that has been slow coming back off after Christmas....it's gone now!!!
