YaY! It's not as good as usual, but with the more intense bands workouts, I've got some tender spots that I'm sure are hanging onto water to recover. I'm feeling good, stronger...more balanced. Balance is good! So today is my Break-Fast, yesterday which is day 3 of my fast and usually spent in a fasting non-hungry glow was plagued by intermittent hunger..very unusual for me, but my workout was probably the culprit. I will adapt/adjust over time, any loss is a good loss and I'm thinking that my muscle mass is hanging on and that is a good thing! My work at the Post Office has not been kicking my butt as much, lifting the packages is easier, squatting to pick things up off the floor has much improved. No neck and shoulder tension when I get done at night so it seems to have improved my peak season stress also! Time for some cream in my coffee!! Woooohooooo! I miss that creaminess on my fasting days! Ya'll have a fast-tastic day!....well if you are so inclined 😁

Well DUH!!! After I saved, the challenge reminded me that I did a weigh-in on Monday, so my total loss since it began is 2.3 lbs, so that's my current usual loss of a little over 2 lbs.

I have an interesting NSV today. At work, I wear the usual postal polo shirt and khaki or blue stretch slacks, but over it I wear a black full length, triple pocket bib apron. It ties in the back, right above my hips. So I picked up a package that was leaking honey, someone did not follow postal regulations on packaging liquids! Anyway, I got honey all over my apron and it was a sticky mess, so I took it off and put it in the sink to soak. So when I go to my window to wait on customers everyone says WOW!! You HAVE lost weight! You have a waist! Look at you! I never realized that they always see me with that apron on, it ties at my hips and not my waist....and it kind of blouses out. I always have the 3 pockets loaded with stuff, hand sanitizer, the office phone, my phone, my keys and badge a handful of pens and a note pad. So with all that hanging in front of me, no-one could see me, not to mention that the counter is waist high, so when I came out of the back, they got a full body shot and the compliments rained down. Really made me feel silly because while they could see the changes in my face and arms...they could see it no where else, and I never paid attention...that apron is my lifeline, everything I need right at my finger tips, I was grumbling because I did not have a spare at the office!! LOL Anyways, it was a feel good moment and then we had to get down to business! As folks walked in throughout the day they all pretty much said the same thing....so I gotta go buy some smaller more form fitting aprons!

I suppose I should also go out in public sometimes in something besides my uniform.

That's how it is when you're a working woman, Deb. Just invest in a more flattering uniform. I'm sure it's time with all of the weight you've lost! 😊

Well, I can't say that I have not been disappointed when the other ladies who are actively losing weight did not respond with excitement when I told them how much weight I have lost since June, they would smile and nod and say...that's great! But when they bumped into each other there...they would squeal and hug and "OMG you look fantastic!", you know that kind of thing. I could see it in them and I always told them how great they were doing.....so I kind of felt left out....sad to say. I don't want their good opinion, but I do like for my efforts to be appreciated. LOL I had no idea that they could not appreciate it because they could not see it! Thank you, once again I thought I had done poorly but it was my now normal usual drop once you add Mondays loss to Thursdays loss.

Yea, I feel ya! Get you some nice fitting uniforms. After all, they're what you spend most of your time in. Shoot, the last job I had involved a uniform & I just kept my nails painted to match it. 😅

...jewelry to match it and all! 😆

Oh, I'm so happy for you, that you finally got the accolades that you deserve. Your fasting amazes me because the idea of fasting for days sounds very, very difficult. I fast daily for around 16 hours and that works for me. I try to remember when hunger attacks me that it will usually fade in awhile if I can hold out. By the way, thank you for your support. I left a message for you as a comment to my journal today. Just click on my name below which will take you to my Profile and Posts (Journals).

I read it Snow, I understand your reasons for staying......I was just letting you know that you are braver than you think :) Thank you for the support, fasting is an acquired skill, you have to overcome that little voice that says...if you don't eat you will die! LOL!

Zen, the uniform it's self is quite flattering and professional looking, but when you are handling filthy plastic tubs full of mail and packages, your clothing takes a beating. The aprons protect my clothes from snags, pulls and road dust....and leaky packages while also being a handy place to store my most often needed items at my finger-tips because in my wanderings I tend to lay stuff down then have to search for it when it starts making noise and needs attention. I lost my mail scanner one day, I had been delivering some packages to the PO boxes and I needed two hands to fit one into the box, I stuck my scanner into a nearby empty box and forgot about it. I had not completed the scan, so about 10 minutes later it started beeping and the hunt was ON, took me a minute to find it because the box section echos. I am planning to make an appointment to have a mani/pedi as a reward for my hard work. I have not had it done in years but it will be AFTER peak season is over, about mid January because a nail job won't make it a week right now with the package load!
