Haven't journaled in a week. So, a quick check-in as I drink my first cup of coffee this morning. Hovering around my goal & just over. I probably need to have a few more lower calorie days if I want to avoid gaining any more as we go into the holidays.

I had lunch with my sister yesterday. She took the day off work to take care of her older grand-daughter. Her younger grand-daughter was scheduled for surgery to remove a cyst on her thyroid, discovered 7 months ago. She was at the hospital, all ready for her surgery. The doctor felt her throat & said the cyst wasn't large enough to feel anymore & canceled the surgery. Good news she didn't have to go thru it, but still had already gone thru all the prep. If it comes back, surgery still possible.

After lunch, my sis, great niece & I spent the afternoon perusing the antique stores in town. My niece loves antique stores! She will be 8 this weekend. After we had gone to 3 stores & my sis said it was time to go home, she asked if there weren't more we could go to....in spite of it being a rainy, wet day. 😊☔️🌧

The good news is my sis, her daughter & grand-daughter had planned on having a separate Thanksgiving dinner because GD needed to avoid people (germs) after her surgery. Now they are joining the rest of the family....her husband's side...Mom, Dad, sister & her family, etc. We have been invited to join all of them for several years, now. I had been a little bummed my sister & niece weren't going to be there, so now I'm happy.

I need to get moving & make breakfast. Gym today, then need to go to the grocery store. The sun just broke thru the clouds, so we have a nice day, today! ⛅️🌞
136.6 lb Lost so far: 36.2 lb.    Still to go: 1.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
