Good morning FS friends,

Time changes. Not a fan. Time doesn't change, we just muck with it. My furries absolutely don't like it at all. We're pretty scheduled for feeding times here 7 and 7. Well, my littlest one Olive aka Pumpkin has this internal clock where she starts headbutting me 5 minutes to the hour of feeding. All three dogs were staring at me wondering what the heck is wrong as the clock ticked past mealtime. Shortly after, my cats started yowling for their meal too. So I caved in and fed them at 6:20 and will keep pushing the time out until we're back on schedule. Never seems to be a problem during the "spring forward" change as they don't mind being fed early. On the other hand, it affects my sleep. Since starting this program I now wake up naturally at about 5:30. You guessed it. 4:30 yesterday. Wide awake. So forced myself to stay awake later, still woke up at 4:30 today and don't feel rested. Rather grumpy in fact. Seems that as I age, I'm not quite so adaptive to these types of changes.

It would be nice if NY state and Quebec would vote to get rid of this nuisance as our province already has but won't adopt the change until those two land masses do.

Ah well, give me the grace to accept the things I cannot change. Spring is coming.

Same thing at our house. Our aging Yorkie has already decided he'd like dinner & sometimes breakfast earlier than his normal schedule. He starts whimpering, barking, whining til we give in. Throw in a time change & now he's really adamant it's meal time!

I would like to stay on permanent DST. Don't like the dark afternoons.

Oh that's awful! Hope you can get your sleep schedule back to normal! 5:30 is already sooooo early! I wish our state would get rid of the time change too!

I find it very bothersome as well! Disruptive to say the least! I’m sure it’s why I gained a pound 😂 🤣
