Good Morning FS Warriors! Happy Thursday! Fast ended this morning and I did well this week! Feeling pretty good, we have had some seriously beautiful weather, you can't get much better than that. We went to the schools annual fall festival and walked around drooling over the literally hundreds of fantastic looking cakes presented for the cake walk, they had a Pancake supper and while Hubby partook of the food, I did not. I had a good time, it's fun to hang out with my customers in a non-work setting! They marveled at how I was able to sit at a table covered in pancakes, syrup, butter and sausage and not eat a bite. The smells of cooking were all over but it was day 3 for me and there is no danger of me slipping on day 3. It's funny how most all of our celebrations revolve around food, earlier at work one of my customers came in and threw an envelope in the outgoing mail and announced that it was his final mortgage payment, everyone clapped and cheered, there were about 7 people in the PO at the time. He did a happy dance and said it had been a long 25 years making that payment every month...they were going out to dinner to celebrate! It's amazing how many milestones I witness in other people's lives and how they celebrate or mourn the milestones in mine too. I am filled with gratitude every day for the opportunity to be a part of such a close knit community. Blessings abound! This community, be it a virtual one, does the same thing, offering love and support, sympathy, empathy and comfort with all of life's up and downs. I'm grateful for that also! You guys have a fast-tastic day while I break mine!

Great job on fasting and the awesome work you have done getting back to where you were at before you got sick.. great drop by the way... I was averaging about 10lbs a mo in weight loss but this month was only about 2lb weight loss so far because of stress, not enough sleep and then me overeating on the calories and carbs that I have been sticking to, but at least I lost some I'm going to be back on track started with it couple days now.. then on to getting under 300 I can't wait for that.. Congrats to you Deb and everyone else...

Thanks for the support guys! I think my loss would have been better if I had a BM in the last three days, but I did not. The clearing came after I broke my fast and had a meal, but it is what it is 🤣💩🤣 better late than never!!! @Sara, I know the routine of stress, it's almost like you can't stress and lose weight at the same time. Then when you see where you are headed, it's still hard to get back on track, seeing the weight go up, increases the stress....it's a vicious circle. For me, just getting back to a good fast kinda clears out some of the residue of poor eating and allows me to get a grip on things again. Before fasting when things would go sideways I would get out of bed with the best of intentions but by lunch it would be IDGAF and nose-dive into the crappy food, I would do a little better the next day and the next, it would take a bit for me to get back to what I KNEW I needed to do. I am a stubborn head and some days, I am my own worst enemy. I gotta pull up those big girl drawers, quit wallowing in my pity party and make myself toe the line. Keep that goal in front of you, and that goal is a healthier, better you. When I do my self talk now days, I don't bargain, I don't dangle rewards, I ask the hard question...Do you love me enough to do what it takes to keep me healthy? Of course the answer is yes right?? Then drop that doughnut and get your ass back on track! LOL! I can't pull any punches, give me an inch and I will take a mile!

Wow good job fasting while being around good. But so worth it. I'm going through that now so I 100% relate.
