Just .6 over goal 😊 Not sweating it, but it's nice to see the scale go down a bit every day.

Yesterday, I did gardening in the afternoon sun....finally pruned the last 2 boxwoods & trimmed the Carolina Jasmine on the arbor between the driveway & side yard so you can walk thru. I'd trimmed it in the Spring, but the walk through was covered again. It was pretty hot, so after cleaning up all the trimmings & blowing the drive & back deck, I decided enough for one day.

It was nice on the shaded patio, so I made a snack & a big ice water, grabbed my book & relaxed outside for awhile.

We went to the Gym today. I started out OK, but it got harder as I progressed thru my routine. I was still a little sore from Friday. Hubby was ready to quit after doing a few of the weight machines, but I told him I hadn't done most of the arm machines yet & wanted to do them. He decided to join me. We both were getting tired by the end. After 2 weeks off, I felt almost like a beginner again! I barely eked out the last few reps on the Rear Deltoid machine, but I did it! I was thankful for the nice hot shower to blast my muscles afterwards.

I bought some new workout shorts today. The mediums I bought last year were hanging on me. It's felt warmish at the Gym, so I thought shorts would be better than leggings to stay cooler. I bought 1 size small (4/6) & 1 size Med (8/10). The mediums are spandex, so I'd rather they not fit too tight. I bought them without trying on til I got home, so I'm glad they fit.

Wednesday is Book Club & I'm hosting. Tomorrow I need to make sure the downstairs is company ready & shop for some groceries. I'm planning to make Pork Tenderloin & oven potatoes. It's a small group this month cause half of our members are up in Maine.

I cooked Mahi Mahi for dinner with an almond crust. Yum! I was really pleased with how it turned out.
