Worked in the gardens a bit today. It rained overnight, but we had several hours of sunshine before a late afternoon thunderstorm. I decided I would try to prune 1 boxwood a day. Today, I did just that, then of course I had to rake/ sweep up all the clippings. Four down....3 more to go. I sprayed deer repellant....still trying to keep them away from the daylillies so I can enjoy the blooms. I also cut back more branches on the hydrangeas. The cold damaged the early growth on the old branches earlier in the Spring. The plants leafed out from the ground but I'm got almost no growth on the branches. I also cut my huge rosemary bush back some more. There are a few sprigs growing on the branches, but I think I may have to cut it to the ground and plant a new plant. I'm very sad....that bush has been growing for years!

I was planning a relaxing bubble bath & soak to ease my sore muscles. I had just climbed in the tub when we got a call from our Niece & her husband in Toronto. Hubby put the phone on speaker so we could all chat while I soaked in the tub 😊 🛁. Multi-tasking @ it's best.
