Up just a tich... but all is good.

I spent several hours in the front garden pulling weeds, raking & then watering some outdoor plants. My front yard on the left side of the driveway is a naturalized garden. Every Spring, a bunch of grassy weeds spring up. Since there is a lot of groundcover I want to grow, I can't just go in & spray weed killer. I sprayed Grass B Gone, that finally killed a bunch of the weeds, but there was a stubborn one it didn't faze. It can't easily be pulled out in clumps, but I can pull bits of it out at a time. I started a few days ago & today finally got the last of of them pulled out!

I also transplanted some Yarrow growing on the path & Liriope "hiding" amongst the perennial mums. The flowers are turning brown on the Lenten roses, so I cut a bunch of them out. Finally, I gave a bunch of stuff a spritz of deer repellant. I'm trying to discourage them from munching on the daylillie buds, so I actually get blooms. The bit off a few last week while I was away 😕

When I came inside, I watched the last 2 episodes of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Prime. Last season of the series....really enjoyed it. Cried some today watching 😢

I got a pretty good workout in the garden. Tomorrow, I'll do a Gym workout.
