Good workout today. We were headed out to the Gym & had to stop & move a broken tree off the driveway before we could drive out. It's a good thing it wasn't too heavy for us to move. We picked up a bunch of broken branches, then the 2 of us were able to drag it off to the side. Then...on the way home we came up on traffic backed up & turning around because....wait for it....there was a tree across the road. We couldn't see it...it was too far up ahead, but a police officer was coming along to the cars to let us know we needed to turn around. There was rain today & potential for tornados, but there wasn't any extreme weather in our immediate area.

I forgot to eat my dessert tonight! I was planning on grabbing an Italian Ice after we did the dishes. Hubby wanted me to look at something on his computer....we've been looking at AirBNB & VRBO sites. Then our Niece & Nephew called from Toronto & we talked for awhile. Looked at a couple more rentals online & decided to go to bed. I was tidying the kitchen & remembered I never ate dessert 🍨 😏 Oh, well....guess I saved a few calories.

In bed now...I'm sore in multiple places from my workout. I did 5 sets on the leg press again today...raising the weight for the last 2 sets incrementally. I experimented on the Leg curls today. I lowered the weight for the last 2 sets & discovered I actually worked the muscles better. I had been really struggling to do 3 sets. I was actually using back muscles as I got to the end. At the lower weight I could feel it working the proper muscles. I don't do extreme high weight yet...still working my way up.

Ok, gonna read 📚 for a bit before I turn the lights out. 😴
135.8 lb Lost so far: 37.0 lb.    Still to go: 0.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Glad you aren't having extreme weather. A tornado would be scary! 2 fallen trees in one day! I remember driving in the dark to work after I just moved here. No lights on any street and all of a sudden right in front of me was a huge tree that had fallen across the highway! So scary. I think I retired right after that!
