PONG. Up again to 180. Not thrilled about that since I am off to the Pig out in the Park event today. Oh well. It is what it is and I'm still going to go have a good time. Maybe this is what I need ... to shake things up a bit. The thing that bothers me is that my numbers say I should be losing ... but I am not.

However, folks I know continue to comment on me being "skinny", my "little butt" (yes people actually comment on that), and on how "long my legs are now". And my clothes fit just fine ... and I KNOW I am retaining water because my rings are tighter than normal. So ... in all likelihood I am not "gaining" weight really. And what I am seeing on the scale is simply fluctuations with bodily functions, water retention, having pain in my mouth & perhaps the effects of pain meds, the moon, the stars, barometric pressure ... the tides ... just stuff ... not weight gain.

I've talked myself out of my funk now. 180 should not freak me out. I should not start to think that simple math does not apply to me ... that I am destined to be FAT and I can't possibly maintain. No to the negativity. Yes to reality.

It is going to be a fun weekend I hope. Three days off of work will do me good. I'm hoping Bob and I have some nice re-connection time ... as we continue to wait until the next Dr. appt. regarding his health. Ta! Ta! for now ... I'll be home tomorrow ... and I'll check in on y'all and see how you are!!! Take care!!

Oh yes ... I did finally get that report done yesterday. Of course I have a list of others to catch up on but this particular one was more complex, more difficult to write ... ended up about 8 pages!!! So, that was a BIG relief!!! Thanks everyone for your good wishes ... they are always greatly appreciated and very much welcomed into my heart!!
180.0 lb Lost so far: 79.2 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

put the pong game down NOW!! hee he! no I know exactly what you are going thru, and this feast you mentioned, well it was planned so don't let than number bother it one minute! I say, once you have a low, its easy to get that back down then to lose weight. so no worries, you will get that back down fast! i hope you and bob do have a special time together, you 2 can pull through any challenge if you stay strong and happy together!

Definitely go enjoy yourself at the pig out and pig out on the things that look good to you. Trust that the math will take care of you because it never fails (unless there is a thyroid imbalance which is not the case with you at all). I hope you return happy and hopefully with less or no pain. Talk to you later.

I admire your easy going and forgiving attitude. I wish I could maintain that frame of mind. We have a very important wedding reception coming up this weekend on September 12. I will drink champagne. I will eat moderate portions of the wedding reception dinner. I will brace myself for the gain. I will TRY to be like you and NOT beat myself up after this special event. Thanks for modeling an exemplary mindset! I appreciate your example!
