So you're looking for a new and soothing coping mechanism, yes? Step One of change is identifying the problem (emotional eating), so it looks like you can check that box. I think it's commendable that you've posted and recorded it, too. Would you be open to seeing a therapist? Weight loss is definitely more than just counting calories; it's such a mental thing, too. 💚

i would, i just dont have time at the moment. hopefully by march or april, i can see a therapist regularly. theres another way i cope but it isnt f.s. friendly. 🤣 should probably talk to a therapist about that too.

I think we've all been there...take the time to care for yourself and hopefully whatever has you down will be resolved.💜

The exact reason I’m finally starting a new health journey. I lost my oldest son 21 months ago. After the initial 3 months of shock I comforted myself with late night sugar binges. I’m finally emotionally healthy enough to care about being physically healthy.

I'm so sorry for your troubles Kay. I ate my pain for a long, long time. Whatever is going on, I hope you know that we are here for you and we will stand with you through it all. (((HUGS)))

well, you know. As I say at work, them feelings ain't gonna eat themselves. I hope things get better and you can have more space to express emotion. Crying releases chemicals from the brain, I find it helps me adjust to things that I don't like. :D xx all the best.

thank you all! woke up feeling better, did my 45 mins on the treadmill and ready for the work day. I'm thankful that my high anxiety days are generally short-lived.
