We have power. No real damage, just putting things back in place. (Like my fence covering so the dog doesn't bark at stupid things) My in-laws are fine they didn't even lose power. Which is surprising, they always lose power. My sil is okay also in Melbourne. I haven't seen our wild peacocks yet so I'm hoping they're alright.
I did good and didn't stress eat.
Husband just told me my glass glazing ball broke. It happens. I will not stress eat.

Glad things are back to normal RoseFlorida. I know what it's like to lose power as living in the mountains where it's mostly wooded we get lines damaged all the time from storms, ice, wind, etc ... downing trees (which fall on the lines). Do you guys have a generator?

No, not yet. We don't even have hurricane shutters yet. We bought our house in December and haven't been here a year yet. (Dec 10th) We decided no big purchases until the 1st year was up. There were a lot of things we needed and they add up. A generator was a want, not need. Hurricane shutters first and then the generators. Thankfully we have a brand new roof and don't need that anytime soon. (Old owner actually hired a inspector beforehand and did everything that needed to be done. We even saw the old roof before the new one was put on and got to see permits and the new rood installed)
