No worries. I had one day off of woe (planned) My baby is home from the Navy. I was back on my woe yesterday. I have 2 more non woe days planned for before my son goes back to his ship. I have a problem with sleeping. I am sure it is affecting weight loss. I have my mom's cat with us. She trained my mom to wake up between 4:30 to 6 am so she could get fed. Well I used to be able to sleep through it but she starts at 3 now and won't stop meowing (crying) and I have a hard time sleeping when she does it. She is not a friendly cat. I've gotten to pick her up a hand full of times (maybe 3 times). She'll let me brush her maybe once a week. I can pet her once a day. I NEED sleep. If I could sleep more than 5 hours a night it would be nice. I have to look at different toys and see if I can find her one she likes. She has toys but I guess she doesn't like them enough not to be bored.

As a fellow cat person, here is my advice (I had one like this, too). Right before you go to bed, fill her bowl with cereal and tell her to pace herself! Then close your bedroom door and turn on a sound machine or fan to drown out her cries. After a few days (or weeks) she'll figure out that you're not going to respond. Then in the morning when you emerge from your room, greet her with lots of sweet talk and pets and a bowl of the food she really wants. It is like a reward for her making it through the night. Nothing going on for today so I managed to go back to sleep. (after I cooked the boy breakfast and made his lunch for later) A glorious 4 hours, so a total of 9 hours of sleep. I reweighed myself, 255.6 so better and my headache is gone. I kept threatening Mollie. It's been months of this. She wants wet food, my kitties have access to dry food all the time.
