Anne the Fab's Journal, 19 June 2022

Had a pretty good week. Few days of feeling like used shit but that's almost done. Sorting out the bins I've sorted into (making big piles into smaller ones) and am down to about 6 from 23. Not too bad, lot's of junk pitched, quite a bit to sell, not much on the "be damned sure to pack this up" but it is stuff I either need/want or be prohibitively expensive to replace.
Couple of weird questions, I had an odd spike a couple days ago, up to 193. it's just... gone today. no idea.
Secondly, what's the current popular/recommended way to do situps? I usually do what they used to call "upside down situps", lay back on a bench, lower your head to the floor and start the situps from there. Don't know if they're still done, encouraged or banned. Thanks!

The way I have chosen is on a horizontal bench, shins hanging off end and feet anchored. I curl up into a full “crunch” and keep the rectus abdominis contracted for all sit-up repetitions, so my shoulders never get all the way back on the bench until I’m finished with the set. I’m not an MD, but I never had problems develop. YMMV
