I did laundry today and watered the gardens & planters. It's been quite hot for a couple of days. I thought we might actually get a storm a couple of times today, but ended up with mostly wind. I felt a couple of sprinkles when we were out for our afternoon walk but the rain held off.

I thought I bought Salmon yesterday but discovered it was actually Steelhead Trout when I pulled it out to cook dinner. Guess I didn't read the label too well. I divided the package into 3 servings & froze 2. It was quite tasty. I covered it with horseradish, minced garlic, minced onion, black pepper & lemon in the iron skillet & put it in the oven. Asparagus & sliced tomatoes completed the meal.

Hubby & I watched some of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee today. We're watching on Hulu so we'll pick up where we left off tomorrow. 70 years! Wow!

I didn't sleep well last night. I woke up about 4:30 AM. I finally got up & took an antihistamine to make me drowsy. I looked for the PM sleep aide we had, but apparently someone used it all 😐 I ended up sleeping late this morning.

Tomorrow night is the First Friday Concert in the Park in town. We have it May thru September. I'm hoping Hubby wants to go. The entertainment is a female country singer we've not heard before.

Off to get ready for bed....
