My friend offered me some perennials from her yard, so yesterday I went over & dug up a bunch. I got a bunch of Lenten Roses, some Verigated Solomon's Seal and one I forget the name of right now. My friend pointed out some growing on the hillside down to the river, I was interested in. The common name is Leafy Spurge. It had some pretty flowers on a tall leafy stalk. I just had to get to them. I decided to take her stairs down to a landing, go under the landing & make my way across the hill...not too steep, but steep enough I had to carefully walk across & not fall down the hill. I used the short shovel I had, to steady myself & got to the area they were growing. I successfully dug up 2....then I needed to pee 🙄 I figured I better get back up to the house & not chance trying to get more plants. Afterwards we sat on her screened porch & visited for awhile with tall glasses of ice water.

Today, after a light morning rain, I cleaned up the former veggie garden area...raking & pulling out weeds. I planted the biggest Lenten Roses there, then added the Solomons Seal. I also transplanted some Lambs Ear & some Oregano from my own yard. I'll buy some colorful annuals to mix in. I planted some of the Petunias & Impatiens I bought into various planters. I also planted the 2 Spurge in my front garden. I still have some smaller Lenten Roses to decide where they should go & more Petunias & Impatiens.

I got in an afternoon walk both yesterday & today....after a break to watch an episode of "Inventing Anna" while I had a snack.

Hubby & I started watching American Idol on Hulu tonight. We started with Hollywood Week so we ha e a few episodes to get caught up. I skipped the audition episodes....they annoy me 😐

Book Club tomorrow. I need to get ready for bed....still haven't finished our book, so I'll read for awhile.

Ended the day yesterday & today under 1800 calories. Weight went down this morning...hopefully tomorrow, too.
146.4 lb Lost so far: 26.4 lb.    Still to go: 11.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
