Yup! Eat real cheesecake the magic 3 days in a row, gain 1 1/2 lbs. Hubby's AM glucose from 84 to 102. Yeah, that's what it was. A science experiment.

On the bright side, I'm not sorry I made cheesecake as I had never made it. Felt kinda good to make a treat. Before we started our diet in 2019, I made a cake. I use to make cookies, cake, pie, brownies, pudding maybe 2-4 times a year. Think I've made fudge a few times in my life. Sometimes Hubby made cobbler. Never been much on cooking desert, it was just too easy to buy something.

Back on the stick today. Good luck, everyone!
170.2 lb Lost so far: 11.8 lb.    Still to go: 50.2 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

Me too! Some religions only offer up that wafer and grape juice - (dry) and science is tastier,

I used to love baking too many moons ago. I have 2 sons and 4 adopted nephews/nieces that we were raising and had in our home all the time and our grand-kids too. So, I was always baking, bbquing, cooking. Now, I luv to purchase already made sugar-free desserts and already made everything. Sometimes I have to throw it out bc we don't eat them soon enough and they expire bc it's only my hubby and I now....

I love cheesecake! I am a good cook and cook big for gatherings and church. It's just the 2 of us as well. I've made it a rule of thumb that I only eat baked goods outside of the house. Single servings and no leftovers. Sometimes we buy something small,but it's rare.
