I strayed from my plan yesterday, eating different foods than I planned, but stayed under 1800 calories considerably. 1548 to be exact 😁 I did have the cup of tea I planned but had 2 shortbread cookies with it. I saw someone had posted a bowl of homemade chicken soup, and that made me think homemade soup might be better than mini meatloafs on a dreary, rainy day. So that's what I did....fresh veggies & ground beef can make quite a nice soup. I threw in just a little orzo at the end causing a lot of the broth to be absorbed. The consistency was more like a stew...but that wasn't bad.

Eating under 1800 calories yesterday helped my weekly average come in lower @ 1849 calories. I looked back at the past month & realized I hadn't been as bad as I thought. My average for the month was 1928 calories a week. My weight was down this morning, too. I know that the daily fluctuations are to be expected, and it's often water. But, I have gone from fluctuations around 142 to 144 up to around 145 to 147. Like I said yesterday, I don't want to be complacent with a small gain that gradually gets to be more....and more. That's what has happened in the past, and before I know it, I've gained 10....then 20 or more lbs.

The weather forecast looks nice this week. It's supposed to be 77 by Sunday 🌞 I read you shouldn't clear mulch, leaves, etc. out of the gardens too soon cause there are creatures wintering there. I do think I can do some cleanup this week.

Today, I'm doing some laundry, and I need to set up an online account for my health insurance. We changed insurance carriers this year.

I made some sugar free jello for snacks. I haven't decided what I should cook for dinner. I only used half of the ground beef for the soup last night. I need to replenish the freezer. Hopefully, there will be chicken breasts in stock when I shop this time.
146.4 lb Lost so far: 26.4 lb.    Still to go: 11.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
