l went back to my journal entries last year for January & the first half of Feb. I'm 3 lbs. higher than 2021 at the same time. The biggest difference was I had Covid in early January 2021. A mild case but it did make my appetite decrease. I actually lost a couple of lbs. in early January. I think that helped me maintain under my goal weight. Other than that, my walking was sporadic & my motivation to do stuff was as well. I also joined my sisters & nieces for a weekend getaway in Jan. last year. That always helps my mood. My eating was not a lot different last year although my desire for a few more snacks has been stronger recently.

Today the weather was warm....60's & sunny. I finally got the boxes of Christmas decorations & the wreaths & other lose decor into the attic with Hubby's help. I moved a potted rose bush back onto the deck. We moved it when we pressure washed the deck & it's been sitting where the deer have easy access...so of course have even nibbling on it. I decided before the warm weather it needed to be back where it can safely leaf out & bloom.

I'm making chili for Sunday & the Super Bowl. I need to shop for the ingredients tomorrow. I plan to pick up chicken & fish while I'm at it.

Our Yorkie got his teeth cleaned today & had to have some pulled as well 😕 He ate his dinner tonight....I softened his kibble & he did pretty well. I didn't walk with Hubby & Lucy. Teddy was still feeling the effects of the anesthesia so I stayed home to keep an eye on him.
147.2 lb Lost so far: 25.6 lb.    Still to go: 12.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
