Nope - that lost pound is not here - I am holding steady.

Steady as she goes. Hope you had a nice thanksgiving. I was talking with my mother, who recently retired after working for 50 years as a nurse at the same hospital, about some of her concerns about aging…she’s 72. She has high levels of calcium in her blood vessels, an obvious concern given the connection to heart disease, despite her being a relatively healthy and petite in stature. She mentioned how her doctor recommended vitamin K2. Very intriguing how vitamin K2 can help the body absorb calcium and send it back to where it belongs within the body and reduce calcium deposits in the blood stream and vessels thereby reducing vascular calcium deposits and blockages. One food stands far far above the rest in terms of a natural source of K2…I’ve never even had it but have seen people here eat it from time to time…natto. Being that genetics seem to rule your future more than other factors I will seek to increase my K2 intake. Time for natto? Egg yolk is up there too and I’ve read it’s better to intake yolk while still runny…no problem with that here. Coffee is ready.

My goodness and then K2 breaks down to MK4 and MK7 varieties, each of which come from different foods. Natto will get you the MK7 and goose liver paste wins the title for MK4. Egg yolks are great for MK4 but it helps to have eggs from pasture raised hens because caged hens are fed a diet that leads to K2 deficiencies. Eggs from the Netherlands have twice the levels of K2 when compared to your average American egg. This is wild.

Chicken thighs are better than chicken breasts for K2 MK4….make sure you combine with Vitamins A and D. Don’t mix with polyunsaturated vegetable oils or absorption can be inhibited. Statins and antibiotics don’t help either. My goodness.

lolol --- Mr. O --- K = Potassium - yes - and so that poached egg on multi-grain toast is a very idea - a good way to start the day ---- and I will look up "nato" - never heard of it - have never seen - if someone ate that in front of me I would not know it - So now you are deciphering - the nutritional text - so your Mom is alright and getting the right nutrients --- it is strange how even if you are a healthy person with a good food line that you can still suffer from an overage or a deficiency ------ I just spent some time looking at "urine" - that is correct - since it is supposed to have some colour - and found out some very interesting information that I was not aware of ----- we are lucky to have this type of information and access to the research involved since it used to be withheld and specialized information ---- Say "hi" to Mom - and do not worry - I will not judo chop her son in front of the salad on the banquet table at the family reunion ---- HK3 starts to grow on a person after a while. I am doing good - I am holding firm- now I am going to take it - 5 pounds at a time - that is my mission right now.

The inhibition of the absorption to cells happens on many different levels - like without citrus there is an inhibition of the uptake of zinc - you really want zinc in your cells since zinc stops the production of viruses. Zinc and copper have to be balance - one on one - to get the cells to uptake the Zinc. So put a quarter cup of spinach under your poached egg and do not forget to add that vinegar since it helps the spinach to break down in a certain way. It is just a little thing but it matters ..... Just a wee thing with huge positive effects - Like your own Dear Mother. Go figure eh!

Chicken wings are better yet --- I am having "one" for dinner - It is meatless Monday so I am having chicken.

Natto ? --- Oh yuck - it has the appearance of - rice Krispie squares made from soybeans - fermented soybeans - with strings of bacteria holding it together - with some unidentifiable "taste" - something like fermented stringy salty cottage cheese --- as stated by the people who eat it ..... You try it First....You eat it first and let me know how you like it ...... if you live.

You would be surprised that if you eat ... a little of everything possible - in your meals - a little bit of this and a little bit of that - in your meal plan that you gain the nutritional requirements that you need. Even that craving is the body demanding something - but keep the amounts small - eg: If you "want" raisins - have 12 raisins - use small amounts of things - 1/8 or 1/4 cup and variety is the source of nutrition. Like Socrates said .... "Let food be your medicine."

okay --- fine --- I will look at calcium uptake today and let you know what I find out.
30 Nov 21 by member: Jergens123
Foods high in oxalic acid also impede the absorption of calcium by binding the mineral. Spinach is naturally high in calcium, but it is also high in oxalic acid. The body is unable to process the calcium it provides. Other foods that contain oxalic acid include beet greens, rhubarb and sweet potatoes. +++ other than spinach there may be other ways obtain zinc - if spinach is a calcium blocker for uptake - and there is - K or Potassium - 1/4 to 1/2 cup - dried apricots - lentils - dried fruits - dried plums - acorn squash - BAKED POTATO (Irish genetics) kidney beans - real orange from real oranges - soy beans - 1/2 or 1/3 medium banana - 1% or 2% milk - salmon - eggs.

Since you do not "DO" macaroni salads --- how about in front of the POTATO salad --- ( Can you really hear me laughing from here ??? )

Google - what absorbs calcium in the body - there is an entire world of information there - the most ideal living situation is without any kind of supplement - when people get older - they have to become wiser in their food plan choices because they are unable to ingest and digest larger quantities of food to gain the nutrition. Any kind of medications and vitamin supplements can interfere with vitamin and mineral uptake.

I spend some time talking with "younger" than me people since they have other newer knowledge than we ever knew - like HK3 knows things at his "tender age" that I did not know at his age ---- we never had internet - there was no internet - and there is a world of knowledge available at this moment.

SPICE ADDICTION - CANNABIS - K2 is a kind of synthetic cannabinoid that is also known as Spice. There are lots of possible side effects - What are the side effects of taking K2? Image result for what is k2 Individuals who have taken K2 have exhibited more serious short-term symptoms than mentioned above and been admitted to the emergency room for serious issues. Such problems include: Violent behavior. Increased heart rate. ... Effects of K2 Improved mood. Altered perception. Delusional thinking. Relaxation.

Beanfields surrounded by a circle of cheese ... tch tch tch --- Cannabinoids are chemical compounds found in marijuana plants. K2 and Spice are names used to describe a group of drugs known as synthetic (lab-made) cannabinoids. They're made from dried plant materials that have been sprayed with mind-altering chemicals - BE CAREFUL OUT THERE

Do I need to take K2 with D3? Current research shows the important synergistic relationship between Vitamin K2 and Vitamin D3. Taking Vitamin D3 with Vitamin K2 helps to ensure the calcium transported by the Vitamin D is absorbed by your bones where it's needed, rather than accumulating in deposits in your arteries. DO NOT FORGET TO TAKE YOUR D3 WHEN YOU INTAKE YOUR K2 ------------------------------ Do you need vitamin K to absorb vitamin D? Vitamins D and K are both fat-soluble vitamins and play a central role in calcium metabolism. Vitamin D promotes the production of vitamin K-dependent proteins, which require vitamin K for carboxylation in order to function properly.

SO THEY PUT YOUR WEE DEAR MOTHER ON DRUGS --- CANNABIS - In simple terms, the main difference between delta-8 THC and products like K2 is that delta-8 is a cannabinoid that is found naturally in the cannabis plant, while the cannabinoids in K2 are not.
30 Nov 21 by member: Jergens123
They have discovered that the human body is not absorbing "synthetic" vitamins and minerals as well as they imagined. So rather than taking a Synthetic K2 perhaps it may work better to take the product delta-8 - the natural product. Some people including the new age Doctors believe that every person takes alcohol or drugs - or did - and that is not true. Myself - I am not a proponent of ingesting alcohol or drugs.
