There’s a little voice in my head saying I’ll never be able to lose the weight, and part of me wants to agree and just give up. But I’m not listening to it; I am going to get myself down to a healthy weight, and I accept there will be bumps along the way. Saw a dietician yesterday to get some additional support in my journey. One day at a time!
189.6 lb Lost so far: 14.3 lb.    Still to go: 35.3 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

It’s mind over matter. Visualisation makes things become your new reality. That has worked for me in the past. And your post just reminded me about that. If you keep visualising what you want. Your mind gets programmed to make it happen. I need to start doing that myself. It also helped me maintain my weight loss afterwards. It’s definitely something I have been missing for a long time. I guess life’s new challenges and family life has made me forget that powerful tool. Meditation works❣️

Thanks, will look into it, am sure it will help with general life stress as well. At the moment, my “end vision” is me in a pair of pre-baby jeans that have languished in the cupboard for long enough!

one day at a time...Yes!! Having a bad day or even a couple of bad days is not the end or a reason to stop trying, this was alway my down fall but no more. Good luck!

Learning to love and trust yourself is the hardest challenge here. Loosing weight will make your appearance differ. But only you can change who you are. Believe in yourself, listen to your body and trust yourself. YOU CAN CHANGE🙏

MS. HARRISON Thanks for the kind words. My advise: - Do what you set out to do. Even if it is difficult - Remember we are all here. Ask if you need help. We all need help. - Count your calories. Keep it low. - Don't eat after 4pm. Just don't. Your body can't store what it doesn't have. - Believe in yourself. - YOU'VE GOT THIS!!!
