Below prevacation weight after 11 days. 3.2 lbs. to hit my goal weight. In all honesty attaining that goal is arbitrary....I don't think it will make a huge difference in my health, how I look or anything. I'd just be able to say I got into the 130's. Leaving the goal there for now.

Doctors Appt. went well yesterday. He did say eating some foods just prior to getting blood work can raise cholesterol levels slightly. I also got the results of my antibodies test. I'm still at a level that should offer protection but as we all know the jury is still out on how much protection. I got a Pneumonia vaccine but no flu shot. I've never gotten one & my doctor doesn't push it. My weight was lower than 6 months ago but he didn't mention it. I guess I've been at a healthy weight long enough it's become the norm. All of my blood work came back with normal results.

I worked in the gardens when I got home. I planted the 2 small Mums in the planters with other plants & decided to put 2 of the medium ones in the ground. The yellow ones came in a decorative pot...one is on my front porch...the other I tucked into the foundation garden. I also pulled some weeds...a never ending task.

My Sister has finally moved into her basement level apartment in her daughter's home. After months of being in limbo after my BIL passed, she can settle into her new home. It is gorgeous! Two bedrooms, an open concept kitchen, dining & living area with a fireplace...one bath, a laundry area, a roomy pantry & large walk in master closet. It has been decorated in magazine worthy style. She also has a private covered patio area outdoors for relaxing. I am very happy for her.

I decided to make Greek style wraps with some of the leftover pork tenderloin last night. I found some 60 calorie Flatbread.... added sliced onion, tomato, some broccoli slaw mix, feta & bottled tzatziki sauce. I got inspiration from an online recipe when I googled ideas. Since the wraps were low cal, the whole meal turned out low cal.

Tonight's menu is Hot Italian sausages with roasted cabbage steaks. I may throw in some roasted sweet peppers, too.

My brother called just to say Hello yesterday morning. He was amused when I said I'd gotten up earlier cause I had an afternoon Dr. appt. Hey, I like to have time to linger over my coffee and my usual routine if I can! Although I see my 3 sisters regularly, I don't see him as much. More recently he has checked in more often. Losing a close family member can make you want to stay closer to the rest of of your family.

There is rain in the forecast for this afternoon....and the next few days. I should probably try to get in an earlier walk.

Just a note * I averaged 1842 calories last week. I did lower calories the first couple of days this week....hoping to be lower for my Doctor's appt. So all I really needed to do was eat "normally" after vacation to get back down.

You're doing great Sherry. You're right about reaching goal not impacting your health at this point, but there is some satisfaction in just getting it done. All up to you my dear, whatever makes you happy. 💜
