Katsolo's Journal, 25 August 2021

Good night last night. Left work earlier than normal, snuck in a swim before class. It was a pretty decent one. Supposed to be hot today, so may have another one tonight, depends. I did decide that I am going to focus today and get stuff done, so keeping it brief. If I hadn't had the PR on Sunday, this would have been one by one stroke, so that's cool. I don't know if I'm going to turn the current up or not yet. My heart rate shows me getting a decent workout, so might leave it there for a couple of weeks and try tossing some different sets in there first. 873 strokes, 10.7 METs, average heart rate 144, 23 minutes in cardio.

Puppy class was great. No incidents, only shepherd drama. Some super cute adoptees showed up to be socialized. This little one's face when she sees just how big Hogan is... so cute and smart. She did well. I am holding firm at three dogs. Ran around with dogs before class. A little low on overall steps though. Still worth it for a swim. I need to nudge myself a little harder to start at 6 so I can quit at 3 to be able to swim and walk dogs. I just suck at going to bed early.

Numbers are fine, blob down slightly, muscles up slightly but from the swim, I'm sure. Yeah, I ran around with the dogs, but not enough to make any meaningful change other than releasing a ton of stress.

It's already only Wednesday. I'm going to go head down today and finish some stuff I've been ignoring at work. Want it off my plate.
