Last day of a 7 day fast. I have family arriving from out of town for dinner, so I will break my fast with them tonight. I've lost 10.2 lbs in this time. I know that much of that will bounce back when I start eating normally, but I'm hoping to hang on to a substantial loss. I'm just going to eat sensibly and exercise every day on my vacation, then see where I'm at in a week. I feel like I've given my body a chance to reset and fight off my summer cold, and I've reminded myself that it feels good to take a break from food. The science says that I have cleaned up on a cellular level, generated lots of human growth hormone and stem cells. I do feel very alert and ready to face the world again. But first I have to get the house ready for company, and pack for a week away.
215.0 lb Lost so far: 65.0 lb.    Still to go: 15.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Thanks for sharing! I'm curious, what does "eating normally" look like for you now? I still think of "eating normally" to be the culturally driven three meals and a snack or two. But my "normal" is pretty much OMAD with flexibility for special situations. My definitions of "normal" are shifting to be less culturally driven and more independent which leaves a wide berth for much diversity.

Portion control is your friend while on vacation.

I'm pretty health conscious and live a keto lifestyle with intermittent fasting (18/6). I've been low carb since about 2010. Vacations with loved ones are challenging, because of different takes on food choices. Last time a few carbs and a little ice cream crept into my mouth!
