I realized this morning I actually weighed .2 less yesterday so this minor fluctuation didn't register. No biggie. I have been eating under my calorie allowance for the past 3 days. It hasn't been difficult...I've eaten what I wanted.

Today's lunch was some leftover Texas Dip....Steak strips & shrimp in a cheese sauce...over some chips with jalapeños added. I think that finished off the leftovers in the fridge.

I was pleased to discover over the weekend that even when I was allowing myself great latitude with what I ate, I still wasn't tempted to go totally crazy. When ordering off the menu I made some good choices & when I got full I stopped eating. Of course, I realize that if I continued to eat & drink even that little bit more I would start to gain again. So....back to normal.





145.6 lb Lost so far: 27.2 lb.    Still to go: 10.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

That is why with this app you have to be accountable to. Even if you do mess up, there it is in your face to get back on track with. Plus, the wonderful people here. Glad you were able to conquer the restaurant!👍🌺💕

Shrewdness, I didn't mess up. Since I'm in maintenance, I gave myself permission to eat off plan over the weekend while I spent time with my family to celebrate my niece's wedding. But, for me eating off plan doesn't mean I just go crazy. I actually ate in a resteraunt multiple times over the weekend, had breakfast at the hotel & ate at the wedding reception. Plus eating at home several times.. I logged everything I rember eating. I was up 2 lbs. over goal Tues. morning after 4 days of more flexible eating. Of course my intentions all along were to get back to normal on Tues. And yes I use the app to track everything so I know how many calories I've consumed.

I guess what I was trying to say was if I continued to eat off plan indefinitely & didn't get back to normal....that would be messing up.
