Had a braai for a friend’s birthday over the weekend... expected to see a bit of a gain. Maybe I’ll try out some ostrich fillets next time!
188.3 lb Lost so far: 15.7 lb.    Still to go: 34.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

ohmygosh ostrich is absolutely the way to go. we don't eat beef or lamb at all anymore. the thing is to not overcook it. it has to be rare. it is so lean. definitely give it two thumbs up from me and my husband (who was a full blown red meat carnivore)

👍 I found a red wine marinade that looks reasonable. Prefer my beef fillet at least medium rare to medium, but definitely willing to give the rare ostrich a go! And have got my sister-in-law on board, so at least it will be the two of us!
