Rain today 🌧🌧☔ Finished the book I was reading, worked on my puzzle, did some basic housework, watched a couple of DVR'd TV shows. No walk today.

I didn't sleep well last night. Not sure if that effected how hungry I felt this morning. Then I wanted a "snack" a couple hours later. I haven't overeaten. I had an egg & cheese on toasted quinoa multi-grain bread with fruit. Then a toasted slice of brioche with some cherry rhubarb jam & a cup of lemon ginger tea. Another snack...cheddar popcorn while I watched TV. Pretty sure I'll hold out for dinner now.

Porkchops for dinner with green beans. I only had a few choices in the freezer. These aren't the leftover chops I had frozen....they have to be prepared from scratch. One of our Hello Fresh meals next week is Tilapia. Hubby did the shopping last & didn't bring home any fish, so I'm glad I have at least one meal coming up that is. We're low on veggies, too so I may need to get some before the weekend.

Hubby had a checkup with his Doctor this morning. I was happy he had good labs & his blood pressure was good. I asked him if he told her I'd been taking good care of him 😉😀 Since I prepare 2 of his meals each day I have a strong influence on keeping him healthy. Most days he's on his own for lunch, unless I feel like making something for both of us.


144.4 lb Lost so far: 28.4 lb.    Still to go: 9.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
