Yay! Welcome to the retirement club! I love being retired. I taught kindergarten for most of my career and loved it but when it's time, it's time. 💜🎉

Congratulations on retiring young! I retired at 56. You are lucky to be able to keep cheap medical insurance. Even though my former employer offered me very good insurance they didn't pay anything towards it. Started at around $600 a month and went up at least $100 a year. When it went over $1000 I had to look for something else for the 3 years until I was eligible to Medicare. When planning for retirement I never even considered paying crazy high insurance premiums.
