Thanks! How should I celebrate when I reach 100 pound loss? hmmmm

Definitely go for a massage or mani/pedi. Maybe some new clothes? You have done such an amazing job. Kudos to you my dear!

Think of the fun you can having - thinking of ways to celebrate 100 lb lost. You must need new cloths, women always need clothes, but it should definitely be something tangible - new phone, a new watch, piece of jewellery, something you can hold, touch, feel and say that represents 100 lb. I bought a right at the 45 lb mark - it has 9 stones in it - one for every 5 lb and if I manage to loose 90 lb it will be 10 lb for every stone. We each have our weaknesses - mine is rings, the bigger the better. So much fun to think and plan. Hope you are very proud of yourself, what a commitment.

Heck YEAH you should celebrate!!! Do you like to plant bulbs...perhaps you could plant 100 flowers! Oh MY ...can you picture it? What a beautiful way to bring a smile to your face once they are grown and in full bloom! DO SOMETHING - ANYTHING that is special to you. Love the Jewelry Idea!!! Perhaps a watch - or a necklace - a mani/pedi is fun, and so is clothes shopping...but make it FANTASTIC...CAUSE YOU ARE!!! 100 lbs!!! So few people will really ever do that in their lives...Celebrate how fantastic you truly are!!! Now, get thinking...

One of the challenges I'm in says that I need to say that I'm proud of myself for making this commitment. I did go out and buy some long sleeve t-shirts yesterday before we left northern Illinois at Walmart. They were only $2.00 each, got five of them. Still a piece of jewelry is a nice idea, and a manicure and pedicure sound great too. Thanks buddies for the ideas. Hope all of you have a great day!

Thanks Paula. Not there yet, but I do believe it will happen. You really are an example of how this way of life works. We Can Do It With God's Help and a little help from our Fatsecret buddies!

Amen, Sista! That's why I thought of the flower bulbs...by the time they come up...you'll be on track for meeting them to celebrate!

Congrats Cindy! 90 lbs is awesome and that 100 is just around the corner for you. I live in St. Louis so we are nieghbors. There are tons of things to do in the city. Treat yourself to your favorite activity...a show at fox theatre, a ballgame, a comedy club, a museum..anywhere you would LOVE to go.

What an awesome idea! I love tulips. What are some other bulbs that might look good with them? hmmmm

Hyacinths are pretty too and smell amazing.

We should get together with Step and go to dinner some evening. I watch my grandaughter down here during the week. We eat lunch everyday with her parents. I'd sure like to meet some Fatsecret buddies in person and haven't yet got to me Step either. I get to take off the boot this week when I start physical therapy. My arm has been alot better too. Remind me of that when I start to complain about the physical therapy. I know it is not going to be easy but will keep on working at it.

Cindy CONGRATULATIONS!! HOORAY YOU!!!! Your progress is jaw-dropping-amazing, woman! I cannot wait to hear what you decide to do to celebrate your sooon-to-be 100 lb loss! You should even contact the NEWS to do a story on you in the local paper - cuz, really, that is amazing!!! It would be a great inspiration to all those in your town, too. You're my hero!!!

Thanks Evie! Glad to have you back. Missed you so much 'sis'. You are one of my heroes too. Don't know if I could measure up to hero statis or not, but if I can inspire someone else, isn't that what we are here for.

Congratulations! And I agree that it should be something tangible to recognize when you do reach 100 pounds lost. Maybe a cross necklace, or something else in that realm to pay homage to how you have done this with the Lord's help. I know for myself that I give thanks to God everytime the scale shows a smaller number. I'm just not as comfortable openly proclaiming it as you are. You're making me feel bolder about it though!

Thanks Cindy! You are a doll! And as ceceps said, I love your boldness and faithfulness in giving glory to God for it ALL!! It is HE who gives us the will and the resolve "to do His good pleasure". "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!" Thanks for missing me - how sweet! I was traveling a good bit last week, and haven't been on FS since Christmas. Missed you and the gang - and I am happy to be back in full-swing now that I am home and settled! This is going to be an exciting year!! My resolve and commitment is UNSHAKEABLE! I love and appreciate you, Cindy!

Thanks Sis! Giving glory to God for the good things in my life is just as natural as breathing. If it's from God it's ALL good. Even the bad sometimes has lessons that we can learn from. Let's all find our resolve and commitment to be UNSHAKEABLE!

Just got back from lunch and the pediatrician's office. Little Olivia saw a doctor at an immediate physician care place on Sunday for a virus and infection. We followed up with her pediatrician at lunch today. He prescribed an oral antibiotic to go along with the topical antibiotic that she was prescribed on Sunday. Her cute litte face looks so bad. Hopefully now she can get back to looking like her beautiful self again. Ya'll know that she is the light of my life.
