Surprisingly my weight decreased again. I've been eating over 1800 calories quite often the past couple of weeks, but I must be burning them. Yesterday was a welcome day to spend a few hours just chilling at the winery. I did wipe down all the shelves in the fridge & threw out some expired bottled stuff after breakfast. I want to start cleaning & purging some areas in the house/garage. As I helping my sister pack it has nudged me into thinking I need to address some of the "stuff" we own. She lived in the home she's selling for 3 years. We have been in ours 24 years. Of course we have cleaned & gotten rid of stuff over the years but we're due....When she sold her last home the buyer bought it with most of the furniture & even home decor. They only had to move personal stuff, kitchen items & some favorite furniture pieces. Our garage alone has a lot of items that either need to be organized or gotten rid of 😐

Today, I'm cleaning the oven. Luckily it is self cleaning but I'm soaking the racks in the bath tub. Supposedly after 4 hours the baked on stuff is supposed to wipe right off. I just looked at them & I think it's working. I want to have it all cleaned before the holidays. It's definitely time with all the cooking I've been doing.

It's very cloudy today. Rain is supposed to move in tomorrow & I think remain all week. Although it's pretty gloomy, our big Maple tree behind the house is looking beautiful. We can see it from the kitchen window & the master bath as well. Lots of leaves have fallen & will have to be cleaned up, soon. Other than the grassy area at the side of the house, I often leave them til Spring...we'll see if I get motivated to blow/ rake them.

I think I'm cooking porkchops for dinner....or maybe soup. I bought a big pkg. at Costco & divided them & the Salmon into servings for freezing today. I left a couple of chops out to cook so it's tonight or tomorrow. I bought various soups as well including lobster bisque, chicken tortilla & a new one to try...chicken parole.

I walked outside....it's quite warm & pleasant. The birds were going crazy out here a couple of days ago. It appears they ate quite a few of the Pyracantha berries. So far the peanuts I put out this morning have gone untouched. Not sure where our birds are today. Hubby did chase off a squirrel that was nosing around.

Mammogram scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
142.8 lb Lost so far: 30.0 lb.    Still to go: 7.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You are sure remaining stable and even the arrow downward!? Good going! Sounds like a busy and productive day. I am glad you are getting some time to enjoy the colors before the rains come. Good luck on your mammogram. May you have good news!

I see people who got their goal and then successfully increase calories. I hope I'll be able to do the same. You give me me hope.
