It says I averaged under 1800 calories a day this past week, but my weight is up. I'm still under goal, but not by much. I'm going to try to keep tbe calories down this week & see if that helps. My measurements are still the same, but I don't want to start creeping up without there being a good reason like a holiday or special meal out. Being "good" day to day should allow me a splurge on for special occasions.

My FB memories yesterday reminded me I had achieved my original goal a year ago. I debated for awhile & decided I could go lower. Eventually I set a new goal 10 lbs. lower. I'm glad I did.

I don't feel like I've been as active lately, but yesterday I did a little extra cleaning. I started out going thru a basket on the baker's rack in the nook by our kitchen table. I have all my cookbooks & some decorative dishes & stuff on it. I disposed of a bunch of those litte recipe giveaways like you get at the grocery store. Next thing I knew I was cleaning the blinds, windows (inside & out) & ledges on my kitchen windows. That progressed to the dining room windows. Then the front door & storm door & the same on my sunroof door. I wisked all the spiderwebs away on the outside....we have lots of spiders in the country! It was nice weather yesterday so it wasn't bad opening up all the windows & making them sparkle.

We have warm weather forecast this week but some rain the end of the week. I might get outside & rake some of the leaves that are steadily falling. I got Hubby to cut down a volunteer bush that had actually grown into a tree in the gardens. It was blocking the view from the the living room windows on the corner of our house. I'm looking for a bush to plant there that won't get so big & out of control.

We rented a movie Saturday night....The True Story of Ned Kelly...what a strange & somewhat disturbing movie! Last night we were back to more episodes of "Turn". I'm really enjoying it. Most nights we're watching 3 45 minute episodes...it's that good! Watching historical drama brings real life characters to life. A scene a couple of nights ago with a young Washington & Martha was so sweet. 🥰❤

Hubby had to go in for a root canal this morning, so I'm not sure what he's going to feel like eating tonight. Friday he has a colonoscopy scheduled so he won't be able to eat any solid foods on Thurs.

Well, need to get some housework done. Doing laundry today....
