Life has been so busy for me and I've missed so many posts. I just wanted to say how impressed I am by your amazing stability staying so within your goal during your long and beautiful travels. You had delightful food yet used such control. I really want to be like that better. I'll keep trying. 😁 I really appreciate your example!

Thank you, Melissa! I think you look amazing! Strong & slender from your weight lifting! I was thrilled to be able to maintain under my goal weight during vacation! I was up a couple of lbs. when I got back from Savannah but down a lb. from that after Wisconsin. I didn't really snack a lot while we were away...mostly yummy meals. Other than a couple of brunches I ate a light breakfast, so that helped. And I was active, so getting in extra steps didn't hurt 😊 It just makes me feel really positive about being able to maintain long term.

That is fantastic and should give you a lot of confidence you can continue successfully! You seem to be just flying!!! Thank you for your kind and encouraging words, but I am honestly terrified of slipping and letting go. When I'm faced with delicious food, I have such an immense amount of trouble keeping restrained. Like when I see yours and sk's meals, I just think I would eat and eat! I keep things simple because I don't do well with beautifully yummy food. I am really going to try to work on that this second year of being at goal. Maybe I'll get more skilled at making lovely meals too! 😁

Melissa, I am at the point where I can eat a portion & be satisfied both by amount & taste. If I eat too much I'm uncomfortable. It helps, I only cook for 2 so I'm able to measure out the ingredients for 2 portions & not be tempted to eat more. I have actually used the app since 2012 & have in the past gotten bored with the process & stopped logging. Eventually I gained at least some of the weight back. This time I have gotten to the lowest weight since I started. I am determined to keep it off this time....both for my health & being happier how I look.
