Taking a little break...I've been doing laundry...collected all our cloth masks & washed them. Need to have them ready to take on our trips. Vacuumed the downstairs and made meals for the dogs for when they are at the kennel. They are spoiled babies....the get heated rice & veggies mixed in with their kibble. We always portion out their kibble in containers when we board them.

I'm supposed to be packing. I have to pack for Thurs. (Savannah) and lay everything out to pack for Wisconsin when I get home next Monday afternoon. I'm not feeling motivated at the moment. 🙄 I hate deciding what to take with me...I always want to take too much. I like to be prepared!

We have been planning today, though....on a group text. My niece is driving so was planning to get some supplies for the house before she left. We so far have "planned" to have ingredients for Mimosas, Bloody Mary's & Daiquiris 😀🍾🍹⚱ Also cupcakes for my sister's Birthday from a special bakery my niece likes. You know, all the necessities. Kidding, we have coffee, creamer, bagels & fruit on the list....and antibacterial wipes.

I'm going off the grid for a couple of weeks 😐 No kitchen or bathroom scales. And probably a lot of resteraunt meals. I do think I've been at this long enough, I can determine an approximate serving size by eyeballing it. I will try to log my meals but I'm sure some of it will be estimates as I don't think we'll be eating in many chain resteraunts....if any. I like to sample the local cuisine when traveling. We have a reservation for Friday night already...My sister's actual birthday. I looked up the menu & I'd like one of every entrée 😋😉

I'm cooking lobster ravioli for dinner tonight. We bought them at Costco & I'll create a sauce to put on it.

Oh well....enough goofing off. I'm gonna go see if I can make a dent in this packing.

You are a busy lady! I hope so much you have a wonderful time away and enjoy every moment. You have been on this path long enough that you will be just fine with the extra challenges being away will provide. It is wonderful you have this to look forward to, and even if the scale shows a little upward movement when you get home, it will be no trouble for you to get back to where you are now.!
