Had been drinking tap water which is "softened" with a saline solution, not realizing that I was blowing up with edema. After several days of good water, and medication for the edema it is about gone and my REAL weight is showing up. Still a little bit of edema evident in my lower legs but pretty much gone and my feet don't look like puffy little frogs.
My diet has not changed or the amount I have been eating so I knew the 180 that my scale showed yesterday afternoon was not valid.
Elderly people who are sensitive to sodium intake should be careful of city water which may be "softened" using sodium salts. It can cause many different medical problems. If you have edema (swelling) in your legs and feet consult your physician or health care provider.

I am very sensitive to salt too. it really affects my blood pressure. I admire the hard work you have done, and went back and read some of your posts. Had a good laugh at some of them, especially ones that describe sagging body parts. Be safe.🙏😷😉
