So, I found myself last night trying to decide what additional snack I should eat when I went in to watch TV with Hubby. I still had calories to spare....so I should have another snack, right? But, I stopped myself & thought about it. I had eaten a nice dinner. I had also had a small slice of cake with some cherries for dessert. And I was FULL. Why did I need anything else to eat? I took my wine glass with a few sips of wine left from dinner & refilled my water glass & marched myself out of the kitchen. And, I never thought about eating again the rest of the evening. When I was in weight loss mode, after I had a low cal sweet treat after dinner I usually didn't have calories to spare so that was my signal to stop eating for the day. Now that I have more calories to play with, I need to remember just because I haven't used them all up earlier in the day doesn't mean I need to continue eating til they're all gone.

I didn't sleep well last night. I woke up around 5 AM & tossed & turned til after daylight. I think having my morning coffee (2 1/2 cups) at 4 PM may have had something to do with that 🙄 I seldom have coffee late in the day during Summer. Occasionally, I'll have a cup when it's cold outside. Anyway, I'm feeling the effects a bit today.

I did come out & water all of the potted plants & weeded the veggie garden this afternoon. It's not very big, so that wasn't a big job.

I took out some Angus ground beef that I plan to make into meatballs for dinner. I was thinking I'd finish off the cheese tortellini in the freezer but I'm not sure there is enough for a meal. Maybe I could toss in enough of another pasta to stretch it. The freezer is getting depleted, so time to buy a few things. We have a dental appt. down by Costco so talked about hitting there next week. We also lined another delivery from Hello Fresh up for next week. In the meantime I may have to get creative ☺
141.2 lb Lost so far: 31.6 lb.    Still to go: 6.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You are wonderful. Just leaving the kitchen is the best choice. I am having trouble drinking enough water because I'm incontinent so...water in water out. I also am really trying to ask myself if I am hungry. it is working . Helps make better choices. Thanks for you inspiring post 😷😉
