Felt motivated today so I swiffered all the wood floors in the house, laundered the kitchen rug, did some basic housework....then moved outside. I washed & refilled hummingbird feeders & swept all the decks....upper & lower....moving furniture & potted plants to get in the corners & crevices. Now I'm sitting outside enjoying a cocktail & some popcorn. There is a storm off in the distance so there has been a nice breeze.

Yesterday, I was looking for something to amuse myself so I painted another planter on our patio. I was planning to replace it but it doesn't look half bad. Amazing what a coat of white paint can do. I also switched out the location of some potted plants that should be flowering but aren't. I don't think they're getting enough sun.

We're supposed to have a socially distanced Book Club meeting this week on our neighbor's river deck. She hasn't sent out a reminder email so I'm not sure it's still on. We've been having a lot of pop up afternoon storms & I think Wed. has a forcast of rain. I've only read about 30 pages of our book. I can't get into it & I kinda gave up on it. I've read 2 other books & started a 3rd since I stopped reading it. 🤓🙄

Chicken breasts for dinner. I have some spinach I need to use and I think a salad of some kind. I can use the cherry tomatoes I picked from our little veggie garden. It's only doing so so but I do gave one tomato plant that is putting out cherry tomatoes. I don't think the garden gets enough sun anymore. The trees around it have gotten quite tall and block the sun more than they used to.

Almost time for our afternoon walk. I think it looks like any rain may be holding off. We got a few sprinkles earlier but it's mostly sunny now.
143.4 lb Lost so far: 29.4 lb.    Still to go: 8.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
