As predicted I'm up today....just a bit. I logged everything I ate yesterday but I may have underestimated...only because I may not have known all the ingredients in my restaurant meal. It was all worth it, though! We went to a favorite restaurant that does some really good stuff with seafood. I had forgotten that they do "Happy Hour" the first couple of hours they're open....which includes $1 peel & eat shrimp (big ones!) & oysters. And these shrimp are SO yummy. And of course they discount drinks. I stuck with wine...a nice crisp Pinot Grigio. I shared photos of my Salmon Provencal. So good! Served on Yukon Gold potatoes with cherry tomatoes, Brussels sprouts & capers in a lovely sauce. 😋😋 Cause it was Hubby's B'day celebration there was complimentary dessert. We attempted to share a brownie but we were too full to eat more than a couple of bites each. We did bring it home for later ☺

Before dinner we shopped. Hubby has lost weight too, so he was in search of some new pants & shorts. Belk had a good Sale & he found some he liked. I also got a pair of Sketchers for walking. My old shoes I've been wearing were sadly in need of replacement. We walked around the square waiting for the restaurant to open at 5. We skipped lunch so I was ready by then!

We also looked at Barbecue Grills @ Lowes, but he still won't pull the trigger & buy one. 🙄 Still doing "research".

I upped my daily calorie count last week to 1800 but ended up averaging out still around 1700 a day. Even allowing myself a few treats I'm staying within range of where I need to be.

I worked outside today. I trimmed what I think is a muscadine vine that is all entwined with one of the Rose of Sharon bushes (that has actually grown into a tree) along the driveway. I can only reach so high, so I can't get all of it out. The Rose of Sharon has a lot of beautiful blooms this year. Also planted the pineapple coleus & red vinca in 2 of t
he planters I painted....and watered. There is a 55% chance of rain today but it keeps acting like it might rain then getting sunny again.

There are 2 leftover burgers from a couple nights ago...think they might be dinner. I may just eat the burger...no bun....and some vegvgies to go with them. We finished off the breakfast pizza half (I froze the other half) this morning. Lunch was honeycrisp apple slices, a cheddar cheese stick, a few crackers & a pickle. I'll have to check how many calories in the bank.
144.6 lb Lost so far: 28.2 lb.    Still to go: 9.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Sounds like you had a lovely meal to enjoy! Happy birthday to your man! We just got a grill too, our old one totally was rusted. Thank you, Seattle! 😁 So great to have for summer cooking.
