I ended the day yesterday at just under 1400 calories. I rechecked a couple of times to be sure I hadn't left anything out! Being busy & away from home has it's benefits. After traipsing up & down the aisles all over Costco we stopped at Kroger to pick up the few items we needed that we couldn't get at Costco. Some things you don't need in Super Duper Gigantic 😁 After unloading, wiping down & putting away everything, I had just enough time for a quick snack of hummus & cheese Whisps before our afternoon walk. I heated up Chicken Tortilla Soup, added a couple of toppings & mixed up some of the Kale salad for dinner. I never felt ravenously hungry and even fewer calories were satisfying.

I'm sitting in a chair in the dining room having my 2nd cup of coffee. I've got the Busforme back massager working on my lower back 😐 I strained it lifting the bags of mulch on Wed. Hope it helps....gonna rub some pain cream on it after.

We had our Zoom Book Club meeting Wed. evening. I set up out on the back deck with a cocktail & bowl of popcorn to munch on. Not as good as in person, but it was nice seeing faces & discussing the book....& just catching up with each other. Next month if the weather permits we're planning to meet at my neighbor's on her river deck & have a socially distanced gathering. I miss socializing!

The baby wrens have hatched outside our kitchen window. We're able to watch the parents come & go feeding them. I tried to get a pic this morning but it was blurry. I'll try again.

I need to spray some more deer repellant. I noticed during my morning garden walk they had nipped off the flower buds on several of the hostas. Some have survived in another area so I'll try to save them. I'm glad they didn't eat the actual hostas....I think they still taste nasty to them.

Debating on whether we should eat the Rotisserie Chicken or have shrimp & pasta with the cherry tomatoes for dinner. Both good choices 😀
