Normal flucuations....ate a few more calories yesterday...including a slice of carrot cake after dinner....1/8th of the cake.

I've been puttering in the yard today. Got a 3rd coat of white paint on the 2 pots to plant my caladiums in & got Hubby to drill holes in the bottom. Just took a break to have my snacky style lunch....a couple of spoons of tuna salad (leftover), a spoon of hummus, some triscuits, some cheese crackers, a couple blue cheese stuffed olives, & 2 cherry peppers...all around 300 calories. I can hear a cardinal chirping away a few feet away ....as I suspected with all the commotion, it looks like the babies are leaving the nest. I spotted one little one sitting in a bush a few feet into the wooded area by our house. I got my camera & changed shoes....flip flops are not great for walking into the brush. I was able to zoom in & get a couple of shots. I'll have to see how they turn out when downloaded to the computer.

My ADD kicked in....camera in hand....what else can I get a photo of? 😀 In the meantime I forgot where I left my phone....mid post.

Think I'll sign off & do something constructive 🙄
