Had a nice visit with our friends by the river yesterday! We all sat apart but close enough to chat 😊 We brought a tiramisu cake for the Birthday Girl with candles. She said it finally made it feel like a birthday. I had packed seperate knives & forks so everyone could cut their own slice of cake to eat.

We took the dogs for their afternoon walk after we got home so I wasn't particularly in the mood to prepare a big dinner. Tuna Melts & chips to the rescue 😊 Then we watched American Idol. It's dfferent seeing each of the contestants perform at home. Tonight the Voice contestants are doing the same.

Back out in the yard & gardens today. I watered plants, raked, sprayed weed killer & put out more mulch. We have a Garden Shed at the side of our house. It has a front porch & stuff sometimes makes it as far as the porch & doesn't get stored inside. I cleaned up the porch & a shelf unit I have on it.

Also had to tackle the laundry I've been ignoring the past week while I've been busy outside. Luckily there are only 2 of us.

Tomorrow we go for our annual eye exam. I love our Optometrist! She's kinda funky & cool but very professional. We've been reassured the office is doing all the Covid 19 protocol. They just reopened after the Quarantine.

Grilled chicken legs on the menu for dinner....have to decide what to have with them. I have some yellow summer squash...so maybe that & a salad.
144.4 lb Lost so far: 28.4 lb.    Still to go: 9.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
