I workout 5x a week, want to go to 6x wkly and one day lighter active recovery (just messing around with the kids). I lift 3x wkly, cardio 5x wkly, & kickboxing 2x (currently - want to add a 3rd in there at some point as well as yoga again). I eat a balanced calorie restricted diet and I am NOT afraid of carbs. I lost several inches over a 2-3ish months (not counting calories, just stopping when I had enough & exercising). Didn't start losing "weight" until I started really counting my calories (measuring, weighing, and portion control). I went from a 2XL to a LG from just doing 30 mins of Cardio 5x weekly and lifting 3x weekly. Now that I have established my base line workouts I am playing around with schedule and activities to see what I enjoy, burns the most calories, and what/how much I can do without lactic acid buildups. I have fallen in love with lifting and literally can't wait for my lifting days now!!! I am not looking to lose it all really fast, I am trying to build a healthy and fit lifestyle.
197.0 lb Lost so far: 8.0 lb.    Still to go: 82.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
