Stress leads to me either not eating or throwing up when I do eat, neither of which is a good way to lose weight. I'll probably put all this back on when everything is sorted and I start eating properly/keeping my food down again, and that's a good thing. I'm losing weight to be healthy, I don't need to be settling into unhealthy ways of doing it.

I lose my appetite when stressed and my metabolism starts racing. I look slim then scrawny after a while and feel terrible. Its good to get back to normal again.

It's weird. I can feel and hear my stomach rumbling but I don't really want anything. So I'll have something like a tin of soup, something light but reasonably filling that I know I like, and I feel so sick after that half the time I bring it straight back up ☹️ We've actually had take away 3 times this week (we bought curry with all the sides for mum when we stayed with her and went to the chippie for everyone when we were at my sister-in-law's and then had pizza (a large pizza to myself and cinni-dips because I clicked on the wrong thing) because my kitchen was covered in soot) and I've still lost so much so quickly. I can't wait for everything to be sorted and for my stomach to stop twisting itself like it is 😥

Frankie I think you have been through a lot recently and is understandably that you are feeling stress, my best wishes are with you.

You sound very stressed. As for sorting everything out, you have to accept that it will take time. Work out your priorities and deal with them one at time. Bite size chunks. Take control back.

Bunty in my exchanges with Frankie she seems one young lady with her head screwed on.

Yes she does. This is another test in life that she will overcome! Right Frankie!

Thank you both! You're absolutely right, I'll get everything sorted eventually and get myself back to normal. Might take some time (turns out the damage to my roof from the fire was worse than we thought) but I have support both here and in 'real life' and I'll be fine in the long run ☺️

Thanks Bubblegum. I've always managed in the past so I'm sure I can again lol. Everything is getting on top of me at the moment but I'll get out from under it eventually

That's just one more thing that's stressing me out. They had to rearrange my appointment and I've had the letter confirming my original appointment was cancelled but I haven't had the one confirming my new appointment yet 🙈

Frankie how are you feeling today.

Same as before if I'm honest. We've been told our roof can't be repaired properly until next doors is done. But the landlord has done a runner, even the cops can't find him. So it's just never ending stress at the moment

Frankie you have all my best wishes I take it you don't own your property if i can help you with any legal questions just ask, I feel for you and your husband.

We own our property, it's nextdoor that's a rental. We're midterraced so our roof connects to next door where the fire was. It's the owner of that house that's gone AWOL. My insurance is covering the repairs but, if they can't find the owner to get their money back, my premiums go through the roof (no pun intended) and the repairs can't be done until the timber is replaced next door because everything connects. I did ask the contractors if they can't just treat my roof like the end of the terrace of cement the tiles up but they can't. So I'm stuck with rain pouring into my attic and damp soaking into the walls because all the bits that are meant to be hidden away are exposed. And we're still trying to clean the soot out of the house too. It's a lot to deal with
