Got rid of some wine and chips & salsa 😀 As much as I enjoyed them, I'd rather they don't hang around. It's nice to know I can have an indulgent day and get back to normal the next. Before I got my mind in the right place those indulgences were the norm & of course the extra pounds added up over time. For me, it's just a matter of thinking about what I choose to put in my body. I really like all the things I eat when I'm eating healthier so making them the staples of my diet should be a no brainer.

Hubby discovered a small leak in a pipe leading to our hot water heater yesterday. 😯 He spent the day & into the evening trying to do repair that he said would be only a temporary fix anyway. It didn't work so today he's starting to replace the pipe. He actually found the leak by accident cause the hot water heater is under our house in the crawl space. We have a 1 room storage "basement" leading into it. He went down to see if we had any more paint to paint some cedar siding he had replaced.

We're having a one day reprieve from the rain we had all day yesterday. It's supposed to start again tomorrow for 3 days. Forcast is mid 60's today so I'm thinking I'll go out & trim back the dead mums in the gardens. I don't like gardening in the cold so they often remain til Spring. It will freshen up things a bit. I have a bunch of lenten roses planted around the house & they bloom in Winter. I'm starting to see a few blooms 😊
