My husband has this problem. He had a biopsy of tumor done and it came out good. Now they just do yearly ultrasounds to make sure it's not growing.  

I have this issue. The nodule is being tested to determine if it is cancerous. As mine was significantly increased in size. If it is (of course, I hope it isn’t) it’s the easiest of cancers to treat. If it’s not a cancerous tumor they can do a blast of radiation to obliterate it or possible surgery. Nodules with fluid tend toward non-cancerous so take heart. 

I'm hoping the change in medicine will help. That's a lot of blood there. Did they leave you any

Thank you all! I had never heard of this. I tend to get weird things. Cuz I’m weird. 65 and still rocking my music!! Love dancing wild and free. When I do leave this world want to go out dancing. It just feels scary knowing there is something in my throat. It’s so big I feel it when I talk, swallow. And it feels so full people hear it in my voice. I don’t like it. But you all have made me feel so much better.  

Sorry so many of you have this issue. No fun.  

caraken, I have something similar. At first I was told it was acid reflux but an ultrasound showed benign thyroid nodules. I am managing it with Selenium and Vit. D.

To be sure, it truly isn’t fun, but remember you are in peoples thoughts and some peoples prayers. Just keep plugging away and keep those doctors appointments. Monitoring is important. 

Is there vascularity to the tumor, like blood flow? 

Cara, I'm so sorry you are even having a bit of a worry even though it may turn out as nothing. I'd say probably all of us knows that uncertainty in so may or another... Totally empathy here. Take care of yourself and try not to stress. Sure sounds possible it is something quite minor even if it is a big bother. Blessings!  

I don’t know all he said is could be fluid filled. No biopsy as he says they don’t do that anymore. I’ll find out more 11/18.  

I'm sorry you have to wait so long to know more. That is not easy.  

I’m so sorry to hear this! My friend had a tumor on her thyroid as well, and she ended up having surgery to remove her thyroid. She’s on medicine for life, but there were no other problems or complications once she had the surgery. I just have hypothyroidism and take 250 mcg. of levothyroxine for it. I’ll be praying for you, if that’s okay. 

Prayers are the best medicine there is. 🤗

I had a tumor on the thyroid the size of a lemon or small apple. It was removed along with my thyroid. It was really a snap. No cancer. We have this problem in our family. The medication has been keeping my blood levels correct. I pray you are successful also.
