We were out for the evening last night so hubby & I had a ham & cheese sandwich before going out. We joined friends for a drink after our event and enjoyed some music. I gave myself permission to enjoy myself without recrimination. I had 2 low carb, lite beers and shared a couple of YUMMY appetizers with the hubby. The Mac & cheese bites & Kalettes (sautéed kale with bacon & spices), a local restaurant specialties are really good & not huge portions. I've been strategic about food choices & have done a good job but there comes a time when you just want to "live life". Back to working the plan today.
If I hit my goal by September 30th YAY...if not I know I will soon. I've already decided my next goal will be another 10 lbs. so this is an ongoing journey anyway.
I am already feeling happier with my appearance in clothes....that tummy I've been unhappy with is smaller. Hopefully another 10 lbs. will make an even bigger difference. Since I already eat lots of healthy foods, this has been about improving my appearance. And cutting back on some of the less desirable treats I was eating in addition to my healthy meals. I learned a lot when I joined FS 8 years ago....I have continued to follow some of that. Just have to remember what happens when I get too lackadaisical about adding snacks and second servings of my favorites.
158.4 lb Lost so far: 14.4 lb.    Still to go: 23.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
