Inching it's way down 😀 So I was saying I skipped wine and dessert Sunday night....well last night I had a glass of wine (Just one!) and a grape Outshine pop for dessert....putting my calorie count up just a little and the scales still went down. Go figure! But, I did cut the skinless sautéed chicken breasts in half and resisted having a second peice.
I bought a kitchen scale and liked having a more accurate measure of foods like meats & fish but it's gone bonkers on me. Until I return it & exchange for a new one I've weighed stuff & multiplied by 2. I often buy larger packages of chicken, salmon and pork chops and divide them up & freeze. It's hard for me to eyeball them & guess the weight.
It's almost become a game to come up with ideas of what to eat to keep my calorie count down, stay satisfied and lose a little every few days. Lunch can get really creative. It often is more of a snack than a true lunch. Yesterday I had hummus with pretzel thins then a half portion of shredded wheat with milk.
I'm retired, so breakfast is usually eaten late morning, lunch mid to late afternoon & dinner between 7:30 & 8 PM. I usually have a little sweet treat after dinner then nothing but water til breakfast. Before I started back on FS in July, I sometimes took an extra glass of wine into the living room after dinner to sip on while we watched TV. We like to watch the music competitions like The Voice and music and wine go well together 😊 Gonna have to figure that one out before the new season starts in a couple of weeks.
158.4 lb Lost so far: 14.4 lb.    Still to go: 23.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
